Second AC

For those that have followed, you know I installed a second AC unit on my 31.5 FBHS. I installed it on a separate electrical system from the camper. This is the first trip we actually needed it. 107 degrees. Both AC,s Units have preformed great. No over heating of the second electrical adapters, etc. I recommend the setup.

The second A/C is so handy and I certainly worth the effort. 107 WOW, that is some warm weather!

Did you have it hooked up so you could plug it in by itself to the 20amp side of the camp post?

Living in South Florida I have always had two air conditioners. Not only cools down the interior quicker but helps if one air conditioner breaks down.

Chas111, Yes, I have it wired to plug into the 20amp side of the camp post. Worked wonderful. I use a 30amp cord with adapters on both ends. I was concerned about the adapters. Some on the forum had stated the cheap adapters would get hot. Not the case.
