38FLFS pic

Noticed this posted on Jayco's Facebook page, from their setup at the Louisville show. It looks like a shot of the new front living room floorplan. At least I don't recognize another floorplan with a slide in that location. We called last month on this unit and they said the first run is scheduled for December. Looks like they also went from the white body color to something like what is on the Premier line currently.

Anyone find any other shots of this unit?

Yep, the Pinnacle's standard exterior now has the Tan Exterior with Dark Brown Front and Rear Caps

I recently saw the interior of a 2013 Pinnacle, the walls and counter tops are much darker, I like our lighter interior colors better.

DW talked to a Jayco rep and they were kind enough to send us a few pictures of the interior. They also said we could share them so here they are.

I'm outside the editing window or would have updated the first post and title.

Spoke to a dealer who has one of these on order. It is due on the lot in Mid-January.

For those who need outside storage information, I got that today too. There is 50.5 cu.ft. in pass through with another 12 if you don't use the front cavity for a generator.

I really like that front living room area, but it seems to give up kitchen area.

That looks huge inside. With 2 large slides in the front I would think the pin weight would be rather heavy? Nice unit though.

Nice living space but I agree the sacrifice of kitchen space is not worth it.

The FL plans are very nice from a safety aspect. Easier egress from the rear bedroom, plus you aren't sleeping directly on top of two propane bottles, a generator with gas tank, and two house batteries.

Saw it in person

Came back from view this model in person this morning.

It has changed some from the pictures of the prototype taken to the dealer's show that my husband has shared with you all.
The floor plan on their site shows the changes and they were well done indeed.

They have added a second wall unit along the stairs. These are fixed shelves and give you storage that was wasted space before the change. They took the two doors on the wall cabinet on the peninsula and turning into one. The also made changes to the doors on the side of the peninsula facing the kitchen. It now has three equal sized doors and there is storage in all of them. It gives a better visual. They also added a door to back of the first wall cabinet. This means you can reach items easier and nothing gets lost in the back because there is no back.

I can confirm that the shower is a single piece fiberglass unit. Of the in stock dealer photos, no one has shown that yet.

The last major change is to the wardrobe unit in the bedroom. Instead of uneven sized drawers under the hanging storage, the have moved all the drawers to the middle of the unit. They are under the tv and this looks better to me. There are two doors under the hanging units now. The hanging units are longer also.

The model we saw was Toffee themed. The couches were solid brown leather[type? not sure they are true leather I forgot to ask]. I preferred this look to the Pecan theme from the show.

What you don't see in the photos is that the storage by the tv goes behind the tv some. There is more usable space then can be seen in the photos.

We really liked this model. I thought I was Open Range Front End Living all the way, but then I saw this one in person. The inside storage for the kitchen area blows Open Range away. It is configured in a more user friendly way in the Jayco.

If you get a chance to see one, go. Even if you don't the front end living rooms, you will be impressed with the way Jayco does frond end living.

Wow I love that unit! The darker cap worries me as I've read the interior temp gets rather hot in the summer with that color...
