Water ac***ulating on slide-out covers

Does anyone have a suggestion regarding a slick way to remove water ac***ulating on top of the slide-out awning? The awning seems to sag and then water runs off on to the top of the slide out . . . heading for the inside :-(

I was considering installing awnings over our 2 slides. We are parked at a camp resort.
The same issue came to mind, about water collecting on them. Ive noticed some have them, and some dont.

Will keep my eye on this thread to see what develops.

Many people put a beach ball under the awning near the center to aid water running off.

This is something you learn to live with in most cases. You could mount the main part of the cover a bit higher on the RV so there's more of a slope but be careful you don't overdo it. Other than that do like most people, bring the slide out in then back out after a hard rain or when there's a lot of water ac***ulated. The beach ball idea might work but you've gotta get up there an put it in and then remove it before breaking camp. Myself, I haven't had enough of a problem to make it all that worrisome.
