Jay Feather Sport 197

Here's a couple of photos of our Jayco "summer home".

The first photo was taken on a Sunday morning in a local parking lot where I went to practice backing it up

The second photo is from our maiden voyage to the Herkimer Diamond Mine KOA in April of this year.

Happy camping and safe travels!

Nice looking rig.

Did you use a square plastic fence post for your sewer hose storage?

I did! I used a Freedom 4 3/4 X 4 3/4 heavy duty vinyl fence post. I fastened it to the frame with some metal strapping. I use the built-in storage compartment to store the wand I use to rinse out the black water tank.

Very good idea. I am studying on a way to store mine. The built in compartment for the hose storage is inadequate.

Very nice and clever mods. Nice you are having so much fun already. Hope you get to 'play more' than you have to 'store' in the the Fall/Winter!

Nice Jayco. I'm biased, of course, as I have a Jay Feather Sport 165--a smaller verison of yours. Enjoy your trailer!

What do you pull the 165 with? My husband and I looked at it, but we did not like the layout because of the bunkbed which we don't need. Do you like the 165 and do you take it far from home?
