Going full time and so excited

We sold the house everything in it and we are off. Heading to Wilderness RV in Silver Springs, FL for the winter. So lucky to find this beautiful spot, and then we will take to the open road healthy, free and the world before us. I'm sure we will have many questions.

CONGRATULATIONS! A bit of envy here.

Please post your questions AND your experiences.
For the DW and I, full timing has always been in our future... we just never decided how far in the future until this weekend. 12 to 18 months from now we'll be full timing!

Have a great time!

We are doing the same except with a twist. We downsized to a single wide mobile home in WY where my family lives, and plan to buy a wooded lot in the midwest where my wife is from and construct a glorified campsite for our TT. We'll stay at each for a couple of months out of the year, and travel the rest.

Off to AZ in a couple of weeks.

Congratulations! We have stayed at Wilderness several times. They are centrally located and have lots of full time seasonal sites.

They also had a great little restaurant on premises.

Please give us your opinions and experiences there.

Congratulations, we did the same thing last summer. We keep our bigger Jayco in Az all year and have a smaller Surveyor for summer travel in the north.

We’re temporarily full timing on our move to Washington. We’re learning quite a bit as we go coming from a much drier and warmer climate but are adapting to the rain and cold.

Since arriving in the PNW we’ve invested in a humidifier to deal with the condensation buildup and our small electric heater has helped save our propane usage. Hopefully we’ll be ready when the temps start dropping.

Have a safe and happy new year!!!

Congratulations!!
It’s a great life with lots to see all around this country. My only advise is to take it slow. Stay in each location long enough for you to explore everything in the area. Safe travels

Enjoy the journey

Dumb question I'm sure but when it's time to be on the road (literally) without a permanent address, what do you put on your IRS return? Sorry to put a wet blanket on this post... throw it off and tell me to ask questions somewhere else. I will totally understand.
