We live in Las Vegas and were looking for some place in the west to go for a month or two next summer. It's way too hot in Vegas LOL. We would like someplace that's cool but still go in the pool and a lot of activities. We do not mind 55 and over parks at all in fact kind of prefer them.
We do the same leaving the heat in Texas for cooler weather. Elevation is your friend. Colorado, especially the Leadville area has been a favorite. Lately Minnesota and Ontario have been the destinations.
What kind of facilities are you looking for? Full hookups? Boondocking? Touring or staying put?
