Our river lot is now empty

Everyone has pulled out on our river lot so today we went up to bring in the trailer. It is now sitting in our driveway for a week so we can pack everything and get the truck ready.

We spent yesterday putting racks on the top of our truck bed so we could load the Yamaha Rhino. After umpteen attempts we finally got it set up so we can travel. The truck bed is now ready for chairs, BBQ, tanks, water system etc. Everything is getting wiped down and put in it's place so we can hook up and leave before the first frost.

One short stop at Bish's Rv for a rear rack, a new regulator, and some new bolts for the stabilizer system and we are headed South.

I'm in Phil Campbell, AL with friends helping rebuild a house for a widow who had $39,000 insurance and lost everything in the April 27th tornado's. 90 here today, little early to be talking first frost. Another 45 days before that is topic here.

We are in the North Idaho mountains just 90 miles from the border. It is already getting into the 40's at night.

Terry, we will be working our way to Parker Az. Our check in date is Oct. 1st. This will be our 6th year. We really like all the open desert where we can drive our Rhino. Also several big off road races happen there every year plus boat races and water ski races. We are both into the off road racing/riding thing. I raced motorcycles for 17 years.

We are still packing and eliminating unused items. I will post a pic when we are all hooked up. My truck looks loaded with the Rhino sitting on top of the truck bed.

When we see it - are we going to start singing?

Come and listen to a story about a man named Clutch
The poor RVer barely kept his gas tank fed
Then one day is he was emptying his tank
and up from the ground it started to stank

Ok - slow morning...hahaa

It may be somewhat reminiscent of the Beverly Hillbillies or possibly even the Grapes of Wrath.
