Snowbird 2020

How many are questioning whether or not escaping the Snowbelt is an option in 2020? Were watching the pandemic blossom in Texas and beginning to wonder what we might experience this year. No doubt all social events are at risk and the Canadians could be stuck at home.

Im giving 2020 a very low rating on yelp.

Wouldn't exactly call it "stuck"!! LOL

I can't see the border opening until next year (maybe), or when there is a vaccine and it's proven to work! Then folks will need to show proof of vaccination to enter either country.

Hopefully we see the border re-open by in the fall of 2021! Until then I'm sure you southern folks appreciate all the choices/options available to you with lack of Canadian traffic.......as we currently do up here. Being an avid fisherman.......I have never had so many choices and availability to go to my favorite lodges as I have so far this year.

But, I also spent a lot of time south of the border and miss it greatly!

We are going through the same thing. We made our reservations in Florida last winter but it doesn't look good. I would hate to spend the whole winter social distancing in a campground, but then I don't enjoy doing the same thing with snow and freezing temperatures.

Looking at 2020 from my rv full timer point of view but still a Weak word choice on my part - an extended time out at the homeland maybe better describes whats happening.

Was going to start a thread with same question. We too have reservations in Florida this coming Fall/Winter. Still contemplating what to do. Has anyone definitely made up their mind as to whether to go or not? Is anyone in Florida or any other COVID hotspots? If so whats it like right now? Thanks for any input.
