Taking the leap...

Greetings,

Myself and my wife of 32 years have camped for most of our lives. We used to have a popup camper that we pulled with our motorcycle. We had a 2016 31' Jayco Octane SL 273 Toyhauler, but we just traded it in on a 2018 North Point 377RLBH. I also bought me a Ram 3500 dually to pull it with.
We have decided to become full-timers. Our house is sold, and we are closing on it very soon. I am still working, and we will be moving into a local campground. We have already sold most of our stuff, but will maintain a small climate controlled storage building for what we won't take with us. The plan is to install a motorcycle Hydralift or Cruiserlift on the rear of the 5er.
I know it's a big leap, but we have been talking about doing it for quite some time now. Wish us luck.

.
Enjoy, but the lift is a very bad idea and will probably void your warranty for the frame, tires and axles. Lippert/Jayco only allow 300 lbs on the rear.

Thanks, but I'm about 14 years from retirement.

14 years you say. Hmmmm...

Your house is sold, most of your stuff is sold, the truck and trailer bought.
So who knows.
