1st Trip 2011 !!!

The DW an I just returned from our first camping trip of the year! We went to Gatlinburg Tenn. over the weekend. First time pullin the 17Z more than 2 1/2 hours.(4 hours total from home to Tenn.) A one tank trip.
The Weather couldn't be better it was in the mid 80's, we stayed at Adventure Bound Campground (formerly crazy horse campground). www.abgatlinburg.com

The place was great, it had everything we needed. I think just getting away for the first time since Oct. was a well needed break. No youngun's jus she and I. We took a lot of pictures I'll try to post some.

Glad you had a good time. Ditto on the nice weather - we camped near Knoxville this weekend (volunteer park) and couldn't have been happier with the weather.

Tim,

I have always enjoyed the Tennessee and North Carolina area for camping, just plain beautiful country. Also, you beat me to it....., I hope to head out this Friday for my first camping trip of the season.

Bob
