1st trip of the year :)
The 5th wheel is packed and almost ready to go. Fridge has been on all day, food is in fridge.
Clothes are in, dog food etc...
just a bit more packing tomorrow and off we go.
First stop in Allentown KOA, then probably Keptopeke, then Camp Hatteras
I am told the mostquitoes are very hungry there, hope they are not in season!
Also, watching the weather, it looks like a mixture of sunny and rainy days all week. Definitely looks warmer than here.

Safe Travels To You! Hope you enjoy a beautiful part of my home state. Two reminders:
1) Don't forget to check out the sunsets on Pamlico sound
2) try to make it to Howard's Pub on Ocracoke
Stay Thirsty my Friends!

We made it to the KOA in Allentown PA
Very nice CG, a lot more campers than I was expecting.
We drove from Kingston Ontario, down on 81 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike. It got really windy in northern PA up in the hills, first time I experienced this in the 5th wheel. I don't know how windy it was but the trees were moving pretty good. The 5th wheel held the road pretty good.

Glad you made if safely Boubou,
We've been hunkered down here in Amarillo, Tx for 2 days due to high winds. 5-10mph tomorrow.
We are onto Albequerque, NM.
Safe travels my friend,
Doug

1st trip of the year :)
Driving down to Cape Charles VA tomorrow. We'll stay at kiptopeke state park. Looks like the winds are chasing behind us, forecast is for winds 23 mph gusting to 30mph.
Not sure what they were at today but didn't like it much. Hope to make it there before it gets nasty.
You guys stay safe.

On March 31, my 16 yr old son and I picked up our Greyhawk 31FK from storage, we de-winterized, checked the vitals, packed it and headed to Plattekill, NY (we live in NC) on April 1. We camped in Newburgh KOA thru April 3. (Visited friends and toured). We moved to Liberty Harbor and RV Park in NJ...Couple days in NYC (Museum, play, Apple Store, etc...) Great weather! Headed home on April 6, arrived April 7. Father and son 7 days together: PRICELESS!!! :-)
hope you have a good trip
