Adventure Caravans
Has anybody here used this company for an escorted tour? We've made a couple of cross country trips but just aren't very good at picking out the good sights, places to see, and interesting stops. These caravan companies appear to have the knowledge, experience, and know how to build a good itinerary. Thoughts?

It would be far cheaper to go to each town and hire a cab driver to show you the sights.. First (and last) caravan I was on took us to a whore house/RV park for a night

Ouch! Sounds like that wasn't a great experience. I would hope it wasn't Adventure Caravans that fronted it.

Thanks for the heads up Grumpy but they don't have the Grand Canyon and vicinity tour which is the one we're interested in.

I just looked that one up and it sure looks interesting. Like you said, they knocked it off around 2010. Riding piggyback in your RV on a train would be a bunch o fun I think.

My parents and my dad's sister did that through Mexico with their RV back in the 80s. They had a great time.
