Alaska???

Thinking about the Alaska trip in 2016. Does anybody think I will have any issues pulling a 338rets. I tow with a 2012 F350 with a propride hitch. Time is not a factor as my DW and myself are retired. Thanks in advance for the help.

I don't see a problem as long as you take extra tires on rims for both the truck and trailer.. and carry some Jerry cans of fuel.. The saying up there is never pass a fuel station as the next one might be dry.. If you have not yet done it Alaska and Yukon tourism have lots of info they will send to you..
When going up there do not miss the "Icefield Highway" between Banff and Jasper.. I host at some of the campgrounds along it in Banff

Send a message via Skype™ to ALJO
All the sites up North have lots of space even if you come with a semi.

Look for a book called "Milepost". it has all the info you will need. Seann45 has a good point for a safety factor regarding carrying an extra spare tire on a rim. Chances are you will not need it. If you stick to the rule of never passing a gas station without fueling up, you probably will never use the extra gas cans.
Research the rules and regs regarding crossing the Canadian border. I have often found a tougher time with US Immigration when crossing back into Alaska.

Xflyhighx;

Keep me in mind on here, if you run into any issues once you get into Alaska, don't be afraid to send me a message. If I can assist I will; if I can't I guarantee I know someone who can.

Central Florida to Alaska, now that's a hike! I'll bet it's an incredible trip. I recall some of our members have made the trip and documented it. Try a Forum search to find them.
