Anchor Down RV Resort, Dandridge TN

Just got back from a week at Anchor Down RV Resort (New RV Resort, Breathtaking Views, Fireplaces, BathHouse, STAY WITH US) and I must say it has ruined all other campgrounds for us. It was everything everyone has said about it. It was an awesome park with awesome views!

I believe it has only been open for just over a year but has been very well received. We booked our site (53) in December of last year. I think all the outer sites (lake view) book up first.

All the facilities were very clean. The public restrooms and showers were very well maintained and very clean.

The pool was awesome. It has a water park quality water slide that I think my 10 year old daughter might have set a record for going down it. Again, very well maintained area, very clean.

The lake area was also nice. Fairly certain that the beach sand had to be trucked in. It felt like Florida beach sand. The water 'toys' were a nice addition.

Lots to do there and in the area. Nearby Gatlinburg is certainly a tourist trap!

I would recommend without hesitation to visit here. We will most likely come again next year....

Smile Anchor Down RV Resort

We agree this is one of the BEST RV parks around. Very well designed. Went there last year, going again in August. THe views are awesome and not a bad site in the resort. The best WiFi around. Check it out you won't be sorry.

I was in the Pigeon Forge are camping last week. I desperately wanted to stay at Anchor Down except for the lack of trees. We would up staying at River Plantation where we were able to get limited shade from the sun with temps in the 90's. Next time I go back to the area will be in the fall when hopefully it is cooler and I'm going to try Anchor Down.

Have our spot reserved for the end of July. I was already excited and you are making it worse... Going to stay there, and then move down to Myrtle Beach and stay at PirateLand.

My family and I recently stayed at Anchor Down for about a week. Of all the campgrounds we have ever visited this is by far one of the very best. There are many campgrounds that call themselves a "resort". Most of those rarely are what I would say meets the requirements of a resort but Anchor Down accomplishes this hands down.
