Any Connecticut Jayco Owners out there - if so where do you take your camper in CT

Any fellow CT campers out there?
I was wondering what campgrounds in CT you go to.
Strawberry Park, Hidden Acres. Odetah, Witches Meadow, Mystic KOA, Chamberlain Lake,
Stateline, Waters Edge, etc?

From pup tents with no floors, to tents with floors and flies, to a pop up, to the expandable.

I haven't been to any CG's in CT, but depending on where you are there's some decent places in surrounding areas. I am becoming more and more fond of Copake KOA in Copake, NY (but VERY close to the CT / MA border). While the surrounding area isn't much, the GC is quiet and well run / maintained. Yogi Bear in Gardiner NY (about 1 hour from Danbury) is nice too.

Strawberry park looks very nice and I have wanted to give that one a shot. Normandy Farms in MA is supposed to be very nice if you are looking for an upper end RV park.

Thanks for the CG suggestions. We've been to Normandy farms and really didn't like it. You are packed in like Sardines, and they have rules upon rules, upon rules. I saw awnings from one camper only inches away from the side of another camper. I'll check out those other places. If you are looking at places in CT, let me know, I have been to many of them and I can tell you how it was.

We are not from CT, but have spent the summer in MA so can give you a few suggestions that are not far away.

Bayview Campground on Cape Cod is really nice. There are many seasonal sites there so we found it quieter than many places we have stayed at. People were very friendly and there was plenty to do at the camp if you wanted to. They have 3 swimming pools, several playgrounds, ball courts. We spent almost two months there. While they do have popup and tent sites, most are full hook ups and most of the people had larger trailers, 5W's or motor homes.

We found the Boston / Cape Cod campground in Middleboro MA to be also quite nice. It is mostly filled with short term campers and not so large as Bay View. There is plenty for kids to do with several playgrounds, free mini golf and a pool. Lots of smaller pop ups and tent campers here as about half the sites are water/electric only.

We are from MA and have camped at Mystic KOA, Stateline, and Aces High. They were all nice and we would return. We have also visited Brialee and Sterling KOA. Brialee was very crowded for our taste so probably would not go there to camp except maybe in the off season and the staff we met were very nice. The Sterling KOA was terrible and we reported the campground to KOA. They have since lost their KOA status and have been taken off their web site.

I felt the same way about Brialee. Too many people. I've never been to Sterling. I have been to the others except Aces High, which is on our list for next season.
