We live in Westchester County NY. I'm looking for a campground on the ocean or darn close with all the creatur comforts that makes the Mrs. enjoy our great new camper. I was hoping to head north from here.. and was looking for fall camping. I only want to travel 3 maybe 4 hours...
Am I crazy or does something exist or do I need to head to Jersey...
Scusset Beach State Reserve is located on the Cape Cod Canal and Scusset beach. Water /electric with dump station. Horseneck State Beach in Westport, Ma, but no hook ups is right on the beach. There are a few in RI, but no hook ups.
If you are will ing to drive a couple extra hours, look into Libby's Campground in York Harbor, Maine.
