appalachian rv resort, shartlesville, pa

Just wanted to give a shout out to Appalachian RV Resort in shartlesville PA. This CG is just off I78 at exit 23. This is the first place we camped with our TT when we bought it and we absolutely love it here. We have three children ages 8,6,and3. (boy, boy, girl) They always have fun activities that our kids enjoy. They always make us feel like we are royalty when we are there as well. There is also a lot to do locally here as well. Cabelas store is 6 miles to the east. Any rain in the forcast and you can kill several hours there without having the kids ask to watch tv or video games. There is also a rodeo close as well. I have never attended this but I heard that it was fun by someone that did. Hersheypark is about 30 minutes to the west from here as well. There is also outlet shopping in Hershey as well. I am not employed by this CG, or don't get any kick backs for this posting. I just wanted to share with you all that if your ever traveling through this area, or are looking too come this way, these guys are doing a great job, and I would HIGHLY recomend them.

Thanks for the review - my family has gone to Mountain Springs CG which is literally a stones throw away and I didn't realize Appalachian was there as I always travel up rt 61 and turn onto Mountain Rd behind Cabela's (the traffic light you cross to enter Cabela's is Mountain Rd). We like Mountain Springs (been there twice) and have 6 kids so activities are important - looks like more fun at Appalachian!
