Apple Island Resort - Lake Champlain - South Hero VT

The Campground has a Olympic Pool, ( only open until Dusk), Community Center, Store ( Could be a little better stocked), a large number of open sites, and some partially shaded.
The campground it self was very clean.
The bathhouse I used on occasion had no soap for two days.
There are a lot of seasonal people here. The ones we met were all very nice. The campground goes dead quite at like 8:30, and virtually no one is out by a campfire.
They have a marina, but beware if you need anything from the marina on Tuesdays, the marina office is closed.
If your into Golf, they have a 9 hole course there.
It was OK, but I don't think I'll go back.
I forgot to mention, there is a very nice state beach right down the road.

Thanks for the review, wanted to go there but the dog restriction bummed me out and now, I just don't care to go
So many CG so little time !

I'd say it's a good place to have a seasonal if your retired. To go there for a week, maybe not so much.
