Kitty, Ana-Sue, and I returned home from the trip to the above campground. We pulled into Hochatown State Park on Saturday July 25th with no sure spot to camp. As we were checking out space available at the Armadillo Camping site, another camper stopped us and pointed out a space available with full hook-ups. Stating "If I were not leaving, I would have moved to it." We got it and had a wonderful week. The campground road is winding through the trees and one has to be careful not to drag the RV into trees. Other than that, it is a great facility. I would recommend the canoe trip on the river below the dam. Beautiful sites.
