Beech Fork State Park

I just got back from a 6 day trip. I always swore I would never camp in August but the DW called me at work Friday morning and said lets take off for the weekend. Jokingly I asked her can she go to the store and have everything packed and ready to go by the time I get home from work, and she said yes. Sure enough, everything was loaded, and the chairs and fishing poles were laying right by the driveway. First night came a nice hard rain than lasted until noon the next day. On Sunday they were calling for rain of the morning and severe thunder storms that afternoon. We were lucky the severe part never showed up, and it was just as sunny as it could be. We had so much fun, we were getting ready to leave Monday morning so I could get back to work that afternoon, and everyone wanted to stay. So for two days, I commuted almost 100 miles to work, and it was fun for a change. Anything to camp longer.

He is a few pics of what we saw.

I was suprised even after 6 days, my 10 year olds wanted to stay longer. It took two days to purge the Xbox's from their system, but they had a blast.
