BPO Elks RV Parking

I was always curious why I see a few RV’s of all shape and sizes parked at our local BPO Elks Lodge. Well I never knew that a fraternal benefit for its members is having excess to short term RV parking at Elks Lodges across the United States and Canada.

About half of the lodges have facilities that range from 30/50Amp electric , water hookups, dump stations and a few offer cable TV to boondocking in a designated area or the lodge parking lot.

Depending on the lodge, a small donation or fee is required. In nearly every case, these RV facilities may be used only by Elk Members in good standing. You may be allowed to stay only overnight to up to a week depending on the individual lodge policy.

Any Elks member out there, please chime in if you have more information or advice, thanks!

I've been an Elk member for 30 years and don't think I ever heard anyone mention it at our small town lodge. I did download an app to my phone that list Elk and Moose lodges and a lot of other places that allow RV's, it's called ParkAdvisor.

My local Elk does not have amenities for an RV, but a lot do. The AllStays app (not free) has a sort criteria for Elks. Below is a screenshot for the east coast………. If you stay at one on the east coast near MD/VA/DE/NC, make sure you try our blue claw crabs ……. I know crabman will agree you wont regret it …….

Cape Girardeau Elks has full service sites with a small fishing lake. Close to town but yet secluded.

It's been a couple decades since we've been to Cape Girardeau! We need to swing by there and head to the Bootheel and see if we can stir up an Earthquake!

We’ve been camping at Elks Lodges for years! Nice organization! On our current trip we stayed at the Lodges in Kerrville, TX and Wilcox, AZ. Like Balibe says, Allstays has a filter to show only Elks places.

Great people, and you can’t beat the price!

Join up and meet us on the road!!
