Camping for Tall Ships weekend near Duluth MN

Does anyone know of parks with available electric hook up sites within one hour of Duluth MN for the weekend of August 19 through 21?
Thank you!

Northland campground and rv. is a few miles south of Superior. Haven't stayed there in years but if memory serves me right it was ok.

There's a KOA in Cloquet, south of Duluth. Pretty typical KOA. Short drive to Duluth. But, I had a bad experience with our site being flooded out after a heavy rain a month ago (not the 200 yr rain they just got recently in that area). Campground could have cared less.
There is so much they could have done to show they cared (move to an empty site for the one evening?), some of the alternatives even would have had me willingly paying more money to rent a camping cabin for our tenters on our site that got washed out too. But all I got was a shrug. And since it was only a 2 1/2 hr drive back home, we left.

Even more importantly, with it only half full, my 30 amp connection kept tripping the EMS, as voltage dropped below 104. Switching the water heater to propane kept the AC running, with a low of 106v (avg 109-111). But it took a long time to make toast, even with no other power being pulled.....

But, it is an option if all else doesn't work out....

Otherwise, check out the other possibilities using Allstays | Campgrounds | RV Parks

Two Harbors municipal campground, about 30 minutes north of Duluth. Spent a few days there last summer and would definitely go back. IMO stay in the new section of the park.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. It seems this is such a popular event, we need to reserve our site a year in advance.
Oh well, maybe next year!
