Camping near Glacier Natl Park?

I'm looking for a place to put the trailer for two nights in/near Glacier in a couple of weeks. National Park Service campgrounds are all booked where reservations are available, and it looks like we're just a little bit too big for first-come-first-serve NPS campgrounds. Does anyone have a recommendation of a place you've enjoyed in a nearby area or town? Forest Service campgrounds are great for dry camping, we'll take electric if we can find it. 2 people, small dog. 27 foot TT.

We stayed 5 nights at Murray Bay Campgrounds near Martin City, MT on the West side of Glacier NP. No water or electricity, vaulted toilets. It was hard to get to the campgrounds but the drive (in our opinion) was worth it. 22 miles of dirt road with lots of potholes and washboards. It took us about an hour pulling the camper and 30 minutes without. We had reserved a spot (4) but changed to a first come, first serve spot (5) when we arrived because we liked the view better. Most of the spots have short trails to the lake (Hungry Horse Reservoir) and the views while standing by the lake are amazing. The water is clear and we caught fish while we were there. There was also a bear frequenting the campgrounds but we did not get to see it (good or bad? we aren't sure ). We did catch a few deer on our game camera. This was our first time to the Glacier area and would stay at this campground again given the chance.

Beautiful! I've seen all of the campgrounds along Hungry Horse Resevior in the National Forest listing and was wondering how long it takes to get in and out of them from the Martin City area, and what the roads were like. Thanks for the reply!
