Camping on the Bay of Fundy - Tide is amazing

Just spent a week in Kate (our 22FB) travelling around the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick & Nova Scotia.

The tree'd Campsite picture is in Fundy National Park @ Chignecto North Campground.

The Teapot Rock is one of the Hopewell Rocks in New Brunswick.

The Beach Campsite is @ Spencers Island, Nova Scotia (sites are really close together, but it is a beach campground with FUll Hookups).

The two pictures from a distance are taking first early in the morning with the tide out. I could walk out about a 1/4 of a mile, I was about 200 yards for this picture. The other picture was taken the same night when the tide came in (from my Kayak), and the ocean was about 40 ft from our Campsite.

It really is quite something to see how much water moves up and down in a 12 hour period.

You are right, I have gone camping twice (once in Nova Scotia and the other in New Brunswick) and it is one of the coolest places around. It should be on every ones bucket list.

I envy you... since we upgraded to a tt with our F-150, we haven't been able to take our kayaks camping (not enough ummph in payload)

Wow, what an amazing adventure for you. I would love to visit that area some day

Yeh, forty foot tides! (vertical)
Your pictures of the Hope Well Rocks brought back memories. It's been 40 years since we camped there. You're right, it needs to be on the bucket list.
Have you been digging for clams at low tide?

We were there 2 weeks ago! We actually weren't suppose to make it to Hopewell, but we decided at the last minute to stop by. It was probably the highlight of our entire trip in the Maritimes!

Been to Fundy Park for the last 4 summers. We all love it there and the hiking trails are great. The Hopewell rocks are indeed a sight to be seen.
