Colonial pipeline

Was supposed to leave for The Outer Banks of NC this Saturday from Indiana. Looks like the ransom pipeline hackers have done me in. My class C holds 55 gallons and I flat tow a Jeep Wrangler. Afraid of no gas and or congested stations . Anyone have first hand knowledge of Virginia and NC situation?

I have no data for your area, sorry. We are in Eastpoint FL and there have been lines at the few gas stations here and I noticed this AM that a couple are out. We searched and bought diesel yesterday. I would expect larger stations on the Interstates would have fuel and you’d be ok traveling that way and make sure you give her a big drink before getting off the main thruways.

Most places around me in Atlanta have none and when they do get gas the line is a mile long and run out in an hour.

I read they should have some capacity up and running by the end of the week which will hopefully start easing the issue.

Fill up before you get near large cities. Once on the road call ahead to next gas stop would be. Availability right now varies. Here in Huntsville no lines and stations have gas. The price has been jacked up 20 cents a gallon.

We are currently in Lake City, SC and many stations were out of gasoline and diesel yesterday. We looked around and found a station that had both in just a few minutes so we plan to continue our trip to N. Myrtle Beach tomorrow.

They say things are supposed to get better by the weekend.

Local news is reporting they are back in operation as of 6pm today. Shipments should be catching up in a few days.

Yesterday gasoline was scarce in this little town in SC near I-95. The cg manager tole me this morning he saw a number of gasoline tankers off loading gas to local stations, so things are getting back to normal. Still going to be scarce for a few days. We are not going to get alarmed as we leave in a while for Myrtle Beach.

I replied to your question. There is a small chain hanging down from the mount in the middle below your TV. If it is the TV in your entertainment center like above the fireplace. It can fall behind the wall. I use a clothes hanger to grab it back out when it does.

I can top that!:

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission warned Americans Wednesday not to fill plastic bags with gasoline.

One of my staff just told me she saw something about a woman filling up a plastic grocery bag? She said after the first bag began leaking, the woman proceeded to "double bag" her gasoline, tied it up and put it in her trunk.

Up until the point at which she put it in her trunk, I thought "Darwin should take care of that one", but she basically just made a rolling bomb. Shrapnel is likely to hurt someone else. If you want to blow yourself up, far be it from me to stop you, but if you're going to hurt others in the process, I have a problem with that.

AAAAND here's the video. It's from 2019...
