Sounds like you had a good time. You did get lucky in that the weather here in CO has been spectacular. With a couple of cold fronts due to pass in the next 4 days, it's supposed to be down in the 50's, but then warming back up next week. I've seen 18 inches of snow on the 3rd week of September when we lived in Denver, so this fall has been a nice aberration.

As far as the weather, let's just say I was about a hair short of obsessive about checking the long-range forecasts. I was looking at historical weather patterns, and really hammering the long-range forecasts. As our departure got closer, I became more comfortable with the weather we would face. I was still prepared to winterize the trailer at a moment's notice though. Luckily, the only reason I fired up the genny was to make coffee on the way home!
