Considering trip to Land Between the Lakes

Planning a trip for July 2015. Any endorsements or caveats on Land Between the Lakes. Lakes--KY/TN? Hoping to rent boat and teach kids. ---ages 6 - 13--- to water ski. Also enjoy hiking, bicycling and sight seeing.

Looking to spend five or six nights there.

I was always wanting to stay there when we were treking back to the homeland in Illinois alot. Everytime we got close we would be itching to get home and never stopped there. With the two big rivers on both sides makes it a nice place to camp. Lots of wildlife there...

I know I would like camping there...
