Daggett Lake Thurman NY?
I know its a long shot, but is anyone familiar with Daggett Lake Campsites in Thurman/Warrensburg NY?
Apparently changed ownership in the past few years and website has very little info re RV sites, only Cabins and Yurts.
Any info appreciated
Thanks

Seasonal site
We actually have a stayed at Daggett Lake and yes there is was a new owner last year who has new ideas and dreams. The campsites are nice if you can get in and there’s a lake…that’s about it. To call it a resort is a stretch as the new owner is focused on yurts and drawing in city folk, then about increasing or upgrading facilities. There is WiFi but it’s located at the front gate only, so you need to check your phone, you need to go there, however for the most part, it’s a short walk. There is No cell service! The lake is private and beautiful and there’s hiking trails. There is no pool, so as for swimming it’s at the beach. We live in upstate NY as well…

Thanks for the info NYANG, and thank you for your service!
We stayed there many years ago and enjoyed it. I have tried to make reservations on their website and it would not let me reserve a site, only cabins and yurts. I then tried to contact the owners to inquire about seasonal and overnight sites to no avail. I think you are correct in that they are shifting their focus to "Glamping", so I'll put his one to rest.
On that note, being from upstate yourself, any recommendations on a smaller/quiet campground in the ADK region with full hookups?

We stayed at the Adirondack Camping Village for a week or better in 2012 or '13 and liked it. We needed three sites together, so they put us up near the top which made the walk to the pools a little farther but not bad. A nicely stocked store, and the staff was very accommodating. The drive to Lake George was only 5 minutes, to do the tourist thing. We would go back.

Thank you, this looks promising I will check it out.
Do you have any additional recommendations ADK or even WNY? We have stayed at most of the bigger resort types and prefer something off the beaten path.

We tend to stay at some of the state parks around here, and the 1000 Island region. Sampson, Selkirk, Letchworth, Wellesley Island, Cedar Point, Westcott Beach, and Southwick Beach State Parks to name a few. There are many more, but we like to have electric at the least.
