Any of y’all going to be at the best time in NASCAR this weekend? If so we all need to get together and say hey. We have season tickets and go every Spring. Getting there Thursday and coming home Monday..

I'm heading that way today. I volunteer there so starting work tomorrow am. I will be at Geico East campground. Friday-Sunday I will be driving one of the ADA golf carts around hauling those folks that need a bit of help with all the walking. Let me know where you are and I'll try to drop by your site for a handshake.

That was the only NASCAR race I went to years back... Too crowded for me haha
Much better watching it on TV...
Gotta say however if you gettogether with your friends that is good place to do it at...
My working years had me in Montgomery ALA a lot working on a Space Surveillance System with NAVELEX Charleston across the bottom part of the US... We had to deal with DEGA goers all the way down to Montgomery there... Hotels would fill up on race days...
The Mountain CHEAHA RV Campground off of I20 would fill up to...

I have been a volunteer at the Jennings Ferry COE Campground outside Eutaw, AL for the past year leaving yesterday. We had several RV'ers in for my last night there that were also headed to Dega. I arrived at Dega yesterday afternoon and am on site 23 in Geico East.

Starting Friday I will be roaming around on an ADA golf cart. What site are you on?

Ed... This is making me think of the Hotter'N Hell Hundred Bicycle Race held in Wichita falls TX that goes on for four days in August I think it is... WE working troops would actually get kicked out of the hotels during this time haha... One year they gave us the big chairs in the lounge where the beer was haha...
Gotta roll with the flow hehe...

I have been trying to drop by, but volunteering commitments are keeping me in the wrong direction. I will try again today. If I don't make it I hope you have a great experience at Talladega. If you do see a green 6 passenger golf cart with a white top and a sign in the windshield that ways Talladega Guest Services #6 approaching - that is me.

Sorry I couldn't make it. I drove up and down the road dozens of times, but always had a load and just couldn't seem to get over your way when empty. I hope you had a great race and maybe we can get together for the fall race. I will be back doing the same thing. Safe travels on the way home.

No big deal, I did keep looking for you. It was our first time down in the new 5th. Wheel, really enjoyed it. We should be back next spring barring our daughters senior prom doesn’t fall on that weekend.
