Doing the Dells

Planning our first trip to Wisconsin dells in June. Staying at the KOA campground in the Ranch section I believe. Have a question if anyone could help us out. Notice there is a coupon book called passport to savings. Was wondering a) is it worth the cost and b) do you have to buy ahead of time or can you purchase them when you get there. The website for it was unclear. Thanks for any info

Been there quite a few times too. Coupon books are OK if you plan on seeing/doing whatever attractions are in the book. It doesn't take long to recover the cost of the book and actually start saving money. They sell them at the visitors center and at most stores. Make sure you do the Ducks ride.

Thanks Rod. An adult only area would be great, but we are taking our three grandkids this time so it won't quite work for us. Thanks for the tip to wait on the passbook that does take some stress out of our preplanning.

Thanks wiscampsin. You can be sure we plan on the duck ride. Notice there are two, original and army. Do you know if one is better than the other, price looks the same. Also we plan on Noah's Ark, the Tommy Bartlett science place with the Russian rocket, the lost canyon buggy ride ( perhaps DH and I will do that one ourselves and leave kids with their mom) and the Timber Falls Adventure Park. We only have 3 full days and a half so had to be picky although we do have an option for fourth day if needed

Phar0e,

We like the original duck ride better. IMO best seats are in the back. Tips on parking, 1st - don't let your meter run out, 2nd - parking on the main street downtown can be a hassle. We always parked in the well marked city lots down one of the sidestreets. Oh yeah, don't forget the fudge.
