Favorite campground on the Gunnison River
I've checked out the various campgrounds on the Gunnison River between Sapinero and Gunnison. Campgroundreviews, Google and the others seem to rate them as OK. I'm wondering if any of you folks have any favorites, private, state or whatever, in that area. We're planning to stay in the area for about a week and have no problem bouncing from one place to another to take in the different sights. We will be traveling in our 27N no tow. We will be working our way north to the South Rim Black Canyon campground then over to Buena
vista/St Elmo's. We will be in Colorado for the month of July.
