Fort Wilderness

We made it! Just finished up with hoop de do show (I think that’s how you spell it). I had sent in the fax requesting the outer loop of the 400 loop and got site 421. Very happy so far...isn’t this supposed to be the happiest place on earth?? Very clean sites upon arrival. Arrived at 11:50 am and had to wait about 30 mins in overflow parking for our site. Got all set up and went to main gate to get our golf cart that we reserved. Were her until Friday, so if your around stop by and say hi, although I’m here with my sister & her family that will keep us very busy, so I doubt we’ll be at the campsite much...unfortunately!

Awesome!!
Looking forward to your trip report.
Please share pics of the campground and from the docks and boats.
We have a trip tentatively planned for next year, so I will be carefully reading everything you post.
Have you been to the Fort before?

Enjoy your time there. May you and your family make wonderful memories on your trip.

Best thing about the Fort for us was the pool. Daughter LOVED the waterslide. 2nd best thing about the pool is it is the only thing we didn't have to pay extra for!!

Remember where you parked you cart when you go to the park. When you get ready to leave there will be lots of them that look alike.

Living vicariously through you until we arrive in the summer.

We've done Hoop de a couple of times before. I love that show.

Lol! I’ve already had to take a pic of the cart number! I also hung a Hawaiian Lay from the rear view mirror to make it easier to find.

That's awesome. Congratulations on being selected. I've been lucky enough to avoid it the times we have been there.

My daughter on the other hand was called up last year.

Good for you Bookemdanno, the Fort is the greatest place in Florida, maybe the Southeast, maybe the whole US of A to glamp. We were there last October.

Will be returning in May of this year
