I didn't request a specific loop. I'll be interested to see where they put us.

We got home the end of July after a month on the road with 12 days of that in the Fort. We miss it already and have been talking about going back this fall or spring for another dose of the Mouse.

Quick question for you all. We rented a Disney golf cart for our stay. Do we pick it up right as we check in, or do we go to our site and go back to get it after we have set up?

You can do either option. We find it easier to grab it on the way in. Wife will hop out and grab the cart as I head to site and start setting up.

Excellent. That is what we were hoping to be able to do.

Thanks

Wow, a Greyhawk AND a Honda Sabre! We used to have one of the original Sabres, the V4 from the late 80's. Took one with us when we moved to France for a year and a half. Now we are about to pull a Yamaha FJR1300 on a Kendon trailer up to Colorado and NM.

But reading all this makes me want to drive down to the Orlando area. We have not yet even left the sate of Texas in ours, so Florida seems like a pretty long way from the Dallas area. One of these days...

It's really nice. I'm surprised at how much shade our site has.

Well we made it down and home again. We were in the 500 loop, 554 to be exact. Nice huge park. Lots for the kids to do. Only issue I had were all the.... non typical family dogs people had. Lots of bared teeth and pulling of their owners down the road. Seems like Disney would have rules against that.

Pulling this old thread of mine back up. Just made our reservations for this summer. Preferred site again. Also made our golf cart reservations.

It's going to be a little different this year. My mother recently passed away so we made the reservations for my family and my father. I think he needs something to look forward to.

Anyway, super excited to officially be heading back to Ft. Wilderness again in 2019.
