====================

Alaska isn't on my bucket list (though it was at one time). These past few years I've done a lot of talking with those that made the trip. My conclusion is as follows:
If sightseeing (wildlife & hiking) are major concerns one can see plenty of that in the area from Banff to Jasper in Alberta, Canada. Lake Louise is a must see..
There's been many horror stories told me from those that broke down on the way up to Alaska. I'm thinking that late summer we will take a trip from Michigan to Glacier National Park ( Montana) then cross over to Alberta and spend a few weeks there.
Jasper to Anchoage, Alaska is over 1900 rough miles. One can just view so many mountains until on gets a little tired of it.
Now that's just my opinion others certainly will enjoy their Alaska trip..
Happy trails,
Bill B. (Michigan)
