Grand Canyon trip - need hookups

We're planning a southwest trip in April. For the nights we'll be at the Grand Canyon, we'll need water/ sewer/ electric. But Trailer Village is fully booked. What are some other options (I realize we'll have to extend our search area). I can't find anywhere that offers hookups!

Try KOA near Williams. Also a place near the train station in Williams that's full hookup I believe.

We stayed outside several years ago and inside a few years later. Really like the drive time savings inside.

Have you considered staying inside for as long as your water/sewage/battery lasts? Weather is rarely (to us ) hot enough for AC. IE three days in, one overnight to recharge/dump/refill and head back in if you can get the reservations that way. Maybe even book the whole time inside and just eat the cost of going outside to recharge, etc.

Spent a week at Railside Rv and Ranch last year. Nice level sites on gravel, good water pressure, 50 amp service, sewer. Nice easy drive to the Canyon. They book your train ride and have a shuttle to the station. Really good free pancake breakfast every morning. We were traveling with another couple and used this place as a base to daytrip the area besides the Canyon.

Try Grand Canyon camper village. It is right outside the park in tusayan they have full hookups. Park was fine when we were there last

We stayed at the Grand canyon Camper Village in Tusayan last Sept. Just outside the South gate. Kinda pricey but convenient. It is just an open field type affair. There are many stores and restaurants near by.

We always stay at Circle Pines KOA in Williams. It's a bit of a drive to Grand Canyon but not that bad. The Circle Pines KOA is really nice, and the town of Williams is a fun Route 66 town. There's another KOA right outside of Williams called Grand Canyon Williams, but we don't like that one. Once we took the Grand Canyon Railroad from town, and that was a lot of fun and a unique experience.

We stayed inside at Mather for four nights. They do have water supply and a dump station.
That said we ran our generator just once. This was in May. Its a shady campground and no AC required..
I don't think its friendly to big rigs though

There is an RV park just south of the exit to Williams,on the right about 1 mile. Will get you farther away from the traffic noise of I40. Then I think 60 mile to the Canyon from there.

In April we will be staying at the Grand Canyon Railway Resort in Williams, AZ, and taking the scenic train to the Grand Canyon. It's pricey, but sounds like its worth it.

Stayed there 2 years ago and it was nice. Kinda crowded but fun western show and town within walking distance. The train ride to the canyon was well worth the price and got you right by the canyon lodge on the edge of the canyon.
