Grindstone Campground + White top Mt.

I recently spent several nights at Grindstone Campground in the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area in the western part of Virginia. It's a beautiful area of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I drove up White Top Mt. to fly my drone

I'm headed there next weekend. Any must do activities?
Is the cell service as bad as they say?
Can you pick any tv stations?

The cell service is worse than they say... nada, zip, nothing
I don't think there is any TV either... (we rarely watch so I don't remember)
If you are a bike rider than def checkout the Virginia Creeper Trail from Damascus. We use Sundog Outfitters for bike shuttle to the top.
Grayson Highlands is pretty cool also.
Drive up to Whitetop Mountain, 30 min from Grindstone.

What is the deal with flying your drone over public places... I imagine some folks don't like being photographed without their consent... My neighbor is into this big time and I sort of cringe everytime he flys down our public street knowing he is looking down on everything below him..

He says he has some sort of FAA assignment so that makes it legal or something like that...

Just curious

If this was the hills of KY it would probably get shot down hehe...
