Headed to Morrow Mountain SP this weekend

The DW and me were looking for a quick little trip this weekend that wouldn't hit the pocket book to hard. Our destination is Morrow Mountain SP located in Stanly Co. NC and is part of the Uwharrie Mountain range across the river from the Uwharrie National Forest. It's a little 2 hour drive for us. Can't wait! Will post pictures when we get back.

Looks like a real nice campground....

Looks like NC is going to get hammered alittle bit with the presnt storm coming up from the south...

May make for a few winter time camping memories... I love them haha...

Morrow Mountain SP was really a neat park. Wish we could have stayed a little longer but I always say that after a trip! Here are some pics of the trip.
