We have nothing. Except for a high murder rate. I wouldn't come here. I'm trying to get out, for Pete's sake! LOL.

LOL!!

Some of y'all hit the nail on the head!

Nope, nothing to see here! Stay near the interstate and spend money on your way through though!

TX has a great state park system. Arkansas is better. Forget being able to get a site from May to August. I'm going to cry when my son starts school in a couple years. Happy tears for the raise I'm going to get from not paying for pre-school, sad tears for not being able to enjoy camping in the Fall as much. It's the only time I can ever find a spot.

All of the posts that say, "Don't come here!" make me laugh. Okay, I won't, but you and your tourism dollars are most welcome here in the Great White North!

Manitoba has a lot to offer:

Folklorama, the world's largest and oldest multicultural festival.

Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site, a fur-trade era fort with costumed interpreters.

Spirit Sands, a "desert" in the middle of the Canadian prairies...?

Canadian Museum for Human Rights, full of interactive multimedia.

...And you might even get to see some of these guys!

Gulf Shores, AL and all of the attractions within vicinity of our beautiful white sand beaches, including USS Alabama battleship, Fort Morgan, Fort Gaines, etc.

Fairhope, AL - ranked one of the most popular retirement destinations in the country

Fort Payne, AL for DeSoto State Park. There are several waterfalls in that area and also Little River Canyon.

Since all those other states don't want you to come and visit, we'll welcome you to Kansas. I travel a lot for my job and when I tell people I'm from Kansas I usually get a snicker or polite smile. Most think of the Sunflower State as flyover country. I'm biased, but IMO nothing could be further from the truth.

Kansas doesn't have mountains or beaches, but we have some beautiful landscapes, remarkable natural features and a lot of friendly folks and a few old grouches.

Those who have traveled through Kansas on I-35 or I-70 have experienced the Flint Hills. The Flint Hills include the last remnants of native Tallgrass Prairie left in the United States (https://www.nps.gov/tapr/index.htm). In many places in the Flint Hills, you can look out and get pretty much the same view as all those folks heading west in covered wagons 150 years ago saw. I think that's pretty cool.

Abilene has the Eisenhower Presidental Library and Museum. The complex includes Ike's boyhood home and grave. For the train buffs, Abilene has a lot of railroad history.

The Kansas Cosmosphere in Hutchinson exhibits the 2nd largest collection of US space artifacts in the world (second only to the National Air and Space Museum), and the largest collection of Soviet space artifacts outside of Moscow.

No visit to Kansas would be complete without the Wizard of Oz. In Wamego, you can visit the Oz Museum. Established in 2004 the Oz houses one of the largest public displays of Oz memorabilia in existence. The museum houses memorabilia from 1939 MGM musical, earlier silent films, as well as "The Wiz."

If that's not enough there's the Evel Knievel Museum in Topeka, the Worlds Largest Ball of Twine in Cawker City, the world's deepest hand-dug well in Greensburg, and the Giant Van Gogh painting in Goodland.
