The Jersey shore is like 120 miles long... any closer location?

Ugh, most of the good beachy type RV resorts are deep into Cape May county, closer to Avalon, Wildwood, and Cape May proper.

We are booked at Baker's Acres in July it is in Little Egg Harbor Township. I have not been there before but I looked at a lot of camp grounds in that area and that I felt fit our needs the best. While each person's type of campground has to be their own taste I had to use my wife's knowledge of the area and our wants and needs. I for one like trees where I camp I don't like full sun all day long. Easy access to roads and to attractions. I try to stay at family owned CG's vs corporate owned. Good luck Happy Camping

Just so Yinz know. The FREE (and who don't like FREE) beaches are at WildWood.
All the rest of the Jersey beaches you have to buy a beach tag.

If going to Wildwood, I'd stay at Beachcomber.
