Thumbs up Lake Catherine AR

Just returned from a 7 nite stay and I highly reccommend this park. It was packed on the weekends and about 50% during the week. Beautiful site! They have some full hook-up pads which is nice. We even got a break from the hellish heat they've had in that part of the country. The water front pads were the first to go but we lucked out and got what we thought was the best non water front pad in the park (it's #11 in area "A" - but don't tell anybody, it's a secret).

I have driven past this place several times in my travel days. never went inside to check it out. Sounds like I may missed a good place.

Been there as well! Great place to camp. Good trails and activities. Only thing I don't like is the plant directly across the lake....but no biggie. As far as I am concerned, Arkansas has some of the best and well kept parks around.....

Right on tafische! The grounds are very well kept. The Bride and I are thinking about trying Lake Hamilton this fall. I could hear the gen plant across the lake but it didn't bother me (especially since it may have been supplying the electricity that kept the TT nice and cool).
