We are at Lake George RV Park now for a week. Great place as others have said especially if you have kids. It's a huge park with all kinds of entertainment including live shows, nightly movies in 2 separate theaters. There are 5 pools, game rooms and lots sorts of activities. Like the place a lot but this will likely be my last year as my youngest kid is 17 and may want to move on to other campgrounds...

Just left there a few days ago.
Lake George RV Park is correct.
We stayed at KOA and would not recommend it over RV Park.
The KOA doesn't get cell service, no cable, no over the air TV and no internet.
With the wet summer, it was pretty buggie too. Couldn't have a fire without bathing in repellant.

Again, Lake George RV Park is a great place. We go there every Memorial Day and Columbus day. And they have an indoor pool if you go there in Sept and the weather isn't great. I'd also recommend Moose Hillock, huge sites, nice pool (might be closed after labor day).

We're staying at Lake George Battleground campground. Nothing fancy, walking distance to lake beach and we're going to be spending times at Six Flags anyway.

Lake George

If you have a dog. The lake George rv park has one of the best dog parks around. Two separate areas for large and small dogs as well as a dog wash.

Great place in September. Quieter than July and August. Balloon festival the end of sept is a great experience

For a treat head up to the Sagamore in Bolton Landing for lunch. It is a very beautiful, classy place.
