Has anybody stayed in the Las Vegas area in the last 18 months and give a recommendation , I want to stay for 2 weeks in February / March, and visit the strip as well as a trip to the canyon .

Thanks Eddy

Get a composite listing of reviews here...RV Park Reviews - Trusted Reviews of Campgrounds & RV Parks

Winter in the desert is snowbird time....from Yuma AZ, to Las Vegas.
RV parks can be at full capacity.

Take a good jacket.....it can get below freezing in the high desert at night.

Although out of central Las Vegas, the NV State park "Valley of Fire" is very nice, with a section that has full hookups and close to Lake Mead.

It's SO busy....thousands lay out the porch carpet in the bare desert landscape, with NO water, NO electric and NO sewer connections, dirt/gravel roads, in the middle of nowhere....

Quartzite Arizona.....

I like the Oasis RV resort. https://www.oasislasvegasrvresort.com/ It is a short ride to the "strip area" Most new hotels in Vegas charge for parking now. So if you stayed at the Oasis you could get a ride back and forth with Uber for what you would pay for parking.

If you have a large truck to pull an rv with you don't want to try to park that in the parking garages IMHO anyways, they are made for cars. IF that is more than you would like to spend just stay away from anything near Nellis Air Force Base area in North Las Vegas, lots of crime. If you happen to be retired military they do have an RV park on Nellis AFB.

If you dont mind a little more of a drive the Clark County Shooting Complex https://www.clarkcountynv.gov/parks/...ting-park.aspx could be alright. They arent much more than a black top parking area, but it has nice views of the city at night, never stayed there just drove by.

There are some very ran down rv parks in the older parts of town, check them out before you make a decision.

Valley of fire is first come first serve so you can't depend on getting a spot, they fill up fast.
