Leavenworth, WA KOA

If you have kids this is a GREAT location! They have a lot of activities for the to include the heated pool. Even if you are not a kid but one at heart white water rafting and tubing in the Wenatchee River is extremely fun. Leavenworth has great shopping and food and is very dog friendly. I highly recommend this location.

Wenatchee area is beautiful, lots of fruit and also you can have a nice drive in the mountains.

We were in the Wenatchee area mid-July. Stayed at Wenatchee Confluence State Park - very nice, well kept park right on the river where the Columbia and Wenatchee rivers come together. The park has a boat ramp and a public swimming area plus some nice wide paved walking trails. Only about a 25 minute drive from there to Leavenworth where we spent a day.

When we lived in Seattle we used to camp in Lake Wenatchee State park. Beautiful area. If memory serves me I used to fly fish in Nason creek? Love to go back there some day. Leavenworth area also fantastic.
