Link us to your favorite campground

How about posting a link to your favorite campground. I am sure others might be interested in exploring new places. I store mine at a campground since I don't have a tv capable of towing it yet. Here is the link. http://www.pirateland.com/

Here is our favorite RV Park. It is located (in White Salmon, WA) just across the bridge from Hood River, OREGON.

Rollins Pond in Tupper Lake, NY http://rollinspond.com/ (no hookups, almost all sites are water sites with private beaches, only small motors on lake. Showers are clean and relatively updated)

Allegany State Park in Salamanca, NY http://nysparks.com/parks/73/details.aspx (beautiful state park, most sites have electric, miles of paved trails and awesome man-made lake. The views are stunning and the park is huge. Restrooms could use some updating.)

My wife and I have been going to Two Rivers Campground for the past 5 years on Memorial and Labor Day weekends. This is my favorite campground in Minnesota. If you are in Minnesota or coming here, I highly recommend Two Rivers Campground.

Two of our favorites are Shenandoah Valley CG near Verona, VA, www.campingisfun.com , and the other is Camp Burson CG, adjacent to Hungry Mother SP near Marion, VA. Don't have the web address for Burson, but you can Google Camp Burson to get the info. Both are really nice, and have a lot of things to do and see nearby. We have reservations in Oct at SVCG for the second time this season, and are really looking forward to the return.

we love this cuz of the water front sites... http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/24469.html Lake Harris, NY and we heard that this is on a lake fed by the ocean, but you have to conceal all adult beverages because in RI it is illegal http://www.riparks.com/Locations/Loc...urlingame.html Burlingame park, it is also ranked #2 on the top 100 places to camp

http://beldenrvpk.com/ is one of our favorites. Its high ontop of a hill over looking the whole broom county and some of penn. The view is spectacular. $ ponds to fish from, bingo, activities during holiday weekends. The owners are the nicest people.
http://www.cooperstownjellystone.com.../rvrentals.php is our favorite of all time. You can't get any better for a campground. If anyone was interested, let me know, I have 100's of pics showing campground at a campers view. Not really near cooperstown so no worries about tourists.

Our favorite sites at the jellystone are the sites closer to the activitiy pavilion. Site 140- 90 are really nice on the end of the lake. If you have little kids, camping on the lake edge is not always good, no fence and the little ones can fall in. There are other sites off the lake too.
I was born and raised in Oneonta. Worked for many years as a bartender at the Copper Fox. Funny to meet somebody here that knows the area.

Salamanca probably isn't too bad for you coming from Albany - if you get onto Route 17 (or whatever it is now?) it's a straight shot west. My in-laws come from Elmira and it barely takes them 2 hours towing a camper. And they drive S-L-O-W. Even without towing.

And yes! I love the site for Rollins. Someone put a lot of work into all of those photos. Fish Creek Pond is attached to Rollins and has the same website (multiple photos for each site). It's larger than Rollins but a little louder as you can have a boat with a motor on those lakes. Having said that, it really isn't that loud at all. Just louder than the silence of Rollins. Unfortunately, we can't get a good water site on Rollins for August, though I've gotten on the waiting list for a couple of sites. I might have to check out Harris Lake now! Waterfront is key with a water loving lab camping with us.

Wow, thanks for these! We're about 20 minutes northeast of Syracuse and are looking for a list of places to check out this summer that we can easily do Friday (after work) through Sunday. I love the Cooperstown area and it's not a bad drive for us at all.
