Minnesota flooding and "Shades of Sherwood" Campground

I know there are several people on this forum that are from Minnesota, but how many of you have a seasonal site at "Shades of Sherwood"?

This link people is the facebook page and you can see how bad the flooding is today. I have two people that I work with that have their campers there and both of them have their TT's under water.

Click around to see many pictures from people at Shades of Sherwood.
This is truly a sad site to see!!!

Never been there, the images of CG looks like a fun place for kids.

I hope everyone has good insurance. In MN if you have auto insurance on your RV you are covered for a flood. But if you have homeowner's insurance you need to have a flood insurance rider. A co-work found this out the hard way a couple years ago when there 3 month old TT was flooded in a freak storm, like last nights.

I have not looked at the news yet. During my drive into work this morning I heard the hard rain was north of the Twin Cities, with a few places reaching over 10 inches in a few hours.

I researched that park earlier this summer.

What a shame! Sure hope everyone has insurance.

We got 10 inches of rain here and the ponds are really high.
The ground is so saturated that run-off will be slow.

Quite the change from spring when were in a drought!
