Missouri Lake of the Ozarks recommendations

Planning on several days in June at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. I would appreciate any recommendations close to the water with a 43 foot 5ver. Thx

Try to get into the state park. It’s on the water with a beach area. Look it up with Campendium and you can also use app. To see all other rv parks around are. Safe travels

Enjoy the journey

Unless you have a particular reason for going to Lake of the Ozarks, I would suggest you head to Table Rock Lake instead. TRL is a 100 times nicer lake and there are some wonderful campgrounds. Our favorite is Old Hwy 86 campground near Blue Eye, MO.

Poking at a campfire with a stick is one of life's great satisfactions.

20 years ago I would have said to look above the 40 mile marker. It was a cluster 20 years ago, can't imagine what it is like now. Used to be the kansas City side was the quite side. We used to stay at a place called waters edge near 54 and the niangra? arm, near Ha HaTonka.
