Mother Neff Texas SP

My DW and I just got back from Mother Neff Texas SP just outside of Waco. I have to say, we have camped in many Texas SPs, and they are consistently good places to camp, but Mother Neff is the absolute nicest State Park we have stayed in inside of Texas. It is a small park with less than 20 sites and advanced booking is required to get a spot. It was the first CCC work effort in Texas. Sites are large and spaced out. Level with concrete pads and really nice spaces for fire rings and picnic tables. Exceptionally well maintained. Nice hiking trails.

My DW said “don’t tell anybody”, but it is so nice I had to recognize their effort. If your around the area you might want to check it out. Forgot to mention that it is big rig friendly with 30/50 amp, water, AND sewer.

That’s the first place we took our current FW because it as close and back in looked easy. I really liked it. The sites are very nice. I’d like to get back but weekend reservations in Texas are tough these days. Glad you enjoyed it.
