We have been to Nashvile 3 times and we stayed at the KOA all 3 times. Once before the flood 2007, twice after 2010, 2013. We liked it because of the proximity to the Opry, however in 2010 it was at the Ryman due to repairs at Opryland. Also you are right at the highway for quick access to a main route to get to the various attractions. There are 2 other campgrounds right there as well, Jellystone and Riverside I believe.
Make sure you tour the Gaylord Hotel facility, it is free. It is a large green house type place with tropical plants, canals, shops etc.
In 2007 we had an issue with our tires and the safety nut on the rim that I could not get off. The staff went out of their way to try to get it off. We ended up ant Carl Black Chev and it took them 5 minutes.
There was quite a lot of repair that took place after the flood. It was a quiet campground that had weekend entertainment. We will return if our dollar ever recovers.

After reading all the reviews for the independents that are closer in, it seems like the 3 near the Opry are all good choices, however, this summer we've reserved Two Rivers Campground .

We have stayed at 2 Rivers Campground the last 2 years for the CMA concerts. The thing we liked about it is that there is a shuttle that picks you up right in front of the campground and drops you off there after your touring/concerts/downtown Nashville were done. They had live entertainment over the weekends (country singers of course). They have a nice store and it is RIGHT NEXT DOOR to CAMPING WORLD... Will be heading there next year again

I would not recommend Nashville Country RV parks. We stayed there a few years back. Sites are stacked on top of each other-I mean very little space and we had power fluctuations all night long with no relief from the campground maintenance personnel. So my Progressive Industries RV power and surge protection system saved my AC unit but it was August and no AC really sucked.

We just came back from Nashville and stayed in the KOA there. It was very nice but on the expensive side. I would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed many times at Jellystone Park on Music Valley Drive Nashville, good park not fancy but much cheaper than the KOA. All tour buses will pick you up in front of the park. If you are going to stay there try to get a spot in the back, the road noise can be loud in the front of all the RV parks on the Music Valley Drive Nashville is a fun city, lots to do.

Happy Camping
