We have been to Nashvile 3 times and we stayed at the KOA all 3 times. Once before the flood 2007, twice after 2010, 2013. We liked it because of the proximity to the Opry, however in 2010 it was at the Ryman due to repairs at Opryland. Also you are right at the highway for quick access to a main route to get to the various attractions. There are 2 other campgrounds right there as well, Jellystone and Riverside I believe.
Make sure you tour the Gaylord Hotel facility, it is free. It is a large green house type place with tropical plants, canals, shops etc.
In 2007 we had an issue with our tires and the safety nut on the rim that I could not get off. The staff went out of their way to try to get it off. We ended up ant Carl Black Chev and it took them 5 minutes.
There was quite a lot of repair that took place after the flood. It was a quiet campground that had weekend entertainment. We will return if our dollar ever recovers.
