New RV Park, Anchor Down, Dandridge TN

We arrived at Anchor Down Resort today, staying till Friday.

Nice place, after walking around with the puppy dog this afternoon, it looks like it was quite a undertaking to build this park.

Across the RV Park (we are down in the corner), not many people here
They have only been open about a month.

A little closer to us, about midway across the top part of the park

Here we are, pretty much by ourselves. There have been a few other RVs come and go.

This place looks great! I have a trip already scheduled for Myrtle Beach so it might take a little while but at some point I want to go there. My wife and I have been looking for a nice campground near the Smokies. This looks like what we were hoping to find.

We will definitely include this CG on our list. We often camp in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area and especially like Wears Valley as it is somewhat out of the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge. We are camping at Cove Creek next month. May drive over to check it out.

Anchor Down

We have reservations for the week of the 4th of July. Some great pictures on the website. This is a top of the line RV park, so the rates reflect, but the fireplaces look beautiful, let you know our experience!
