You will be coming from the Massachusetts turnpike to Route 495. Probably around a four hour drive. We have not stayed there but have gone to look at it. Very clean, lots of amenities and great facilities. Nice pool, etc....

Agree with safety lady. My recommendation is 84 - MA Turnpike (90) - 495. 95 is probably few miles shorter, but probably just as much time given the never ending traffic and road construction.

We haven't stayed at Normandy either, but have driven through and it looks like a great CG, especially for kids. Sites are mainly pull-through, and appeared to be fairly close together. IIRC, unless you're on the perimeter of the CG there isn't much shade.

Normandy farms is always a great time. Lots to do for the kids and adults. Very safe, secure and clean. We are an hour's drive from Normandy and its a great place for us to get away for a weekend.

We're regulars there now. We live in CT. This is one of the best, cleanest, most to offer higher end RV resorts on the East Coast. Very highly recommended. Best in New England (other than Bar Harbor KOA). PM me for details. If you transverse 95 at the right times, you're fine. 90 is tolls and has same traffic issues at bad times. Again, PM for details.

We have stayed there and it is a very nice campground. When my parents lived in NJ, we would take Tappan Zee Bridge to 84 to 90 (Mass Pike) to 495 south.
Gillette stadium is near Normandy and the complex contains a mall, movies, museum, and Bass Pro Shop. A casino just opened in Plainville Ma which is also close to Normandy.
